A fully smocked bodice runs from the straight neckline to the waist, where multiple horizontal back straps extend from the smocked panel and connect upward to a halter neck tie — leaving the back open between the strap ladder and the skirt below. The gathered skirt falls from the smocked waist into a full floor-length silhouette, finishing with a double tiered ruffle hem that adds volume at the base. A side split opens the skirt further, whilst the lightweight crinkle fabric carries movement across the entire length of the dress.
